2nd grade field trip to D.C.

Jack and  Matt went with their second grade classes to D.C. to the National Botanical Gardens and Natural History Museum. I chaperoned, and had two of their other classmates with me. Besides trying to keep my eye on four 8 year old boys, we had a great time. The weather was nice for March, and it was the first time I have been to the botanical gardens. They were a big hit with the boys, especially the impressive jungle area. The Natural History Museum is always fun for the kids, too. Once again I feel blessed that my kids can take these amazing field trips with incredible museums and historical areas so close by to Annapolis.

On to the Natural History Museum. We spent most of our time in the dinosaur, ocean, and mammal areas (but we also checked out the Egyptian mummies!)
